-   Ensure technical infrastructure; research and develop solutions for applying information technologies to the Center's activities;

-   Research on technological solutions to develop information system; renovate and improve the quality of the Center's activities;

-   Be in charge of technological aspects in developing the information system, integrating, linking, managing and providing the Center’s electronic macro socio-economic information to users;

-   Develop and manage the Center’s national e-portal of socio-economic information;

-   Plan and carry out scientific studies in the specialized areas of the Department and participate in training in those areas;

-   Provide  services on information technology;
